Colour:

White and black silken cotton yarns sitting on the warp are woven artfully through the weft with boucle/twist yarns of, black (wool and polyester) and a twisted natural white cotton yarn. The clever jacquard weave and monochrome yarns used in this fabric produce a superb reversible look where the face side sports a predominantly white (with black) melange background, supporting a design of alternating 2cm diameter spots.

The reverse sports a predominantly black background with herringbone-like, large chevrons and a sprinkling of white melange. The 2cm spot design contrasts well with this ark herringbone background. Monochrome palettes are extremely versatile, team with simple black or white and grey for instant impact.

Properties:

This excellent jacquard Mono Spot boasts a soft cotton feel and lightly textured boucle style. The design of spots and almost herringbone (on the reverse) are woven in a basket-like jacquard weave. The fabric has a stable width-wise and lengthwise handle, but quite a bit of bias stretch enabling it to form soft gathers and drape well too.

The pleasingly reversible nature makes it ideal for unlined jackets, cardigans and waistcoats! (bind the seams for a neat finish)

Also ideal for tunics with soft roll necks and artists/fisherman style boxy tops cover-ups. Worker style overshirts / shackets.
