This European linen and cotton blend fabric is woven in a combination of lighter and darker-toned lustrous navy yarns. The combination of tones produces an overall dark sapphire hue with the depth of a precious gem. The twill weave produces vertical tripes, which emphasise the lustrous sheen of the yarns.

Properties:

Woven in a stylish jumbo twill, which creates raised diagonal lines, which catch the light with a lustrous sheen you may presume was silk! Lightly but pleasantly textured, almost akin to silk gros grain, yet with a much softer drape. Black Sapphire is stable, closely woven with a gentle bias ease that produces a reassuring drape quality, which is soft, and malleable drape quality – perfect for creating occasion wear and formal attire with stylish flair.
